E-devlet registratie

Registration on the e-Devlet portal can be carried out not only by residents of Turkey, but also by foreigners who have relevant documents confirming long-term legal residence in the country — a residence permit or a work permit.

In addition to the official web portal, users have access to a mobile application in AppStore, Google Play et AppGallery.

It's important! Citizens who want to make e-Devlet access for a child should be aware that users can only be added to the list when they reach the age of 15.

How to register for e-Devlet

First, let's figure out how to get the e-Devlet password. Without this unique code, further registration and access to the database are impossible.

Procedure:

  1. Check where the Turkish State Post or PTT office is located near you. There are post offices in every city. A distinctive feature of RTT: a blue-red logo on a yellow background.
  2. Contact the first employee you met at the post office: to be understood and referred to the operator, it will be enough to say the word “e-Devlet”. If there is a queue at the post office, you will most likely be given a waiting ticket.
  3. Next, you will be offered two ways to get your e-Devlet password: an SMS message sent to a Turkish number, or an envelope that a post office employee will immediately give you. The cost of the service is 5 TRY. Which method to choose doesn't matter. The most important thing is to keep it in a safe place and not share the unique code with outsiders, as the database contains important personal information.

Once the password is issued, you can start registering directly on the e-Devlet portal. After you enter the database, you will be able to change your personal ID to a convenient one, which will be used to log in to your user account.

Documents required for registration

You should have with you:

  • Turkish citizens — kimlik (Turkish identity card or passport), foreigners — ikamet ID card confirming their residence permit status;
  • phone number of one of the Turkish mobile operators;
  • the password for the initial login to e-Devlet, which was given to you via PTT mail.

Registration procedure

It is not difficult to complete the registration procedure in the state register. The only thing to consider is that Turkey does not have a Russian version of the e-Devlet website, so you will have to use a standard translator built into search engines.

Step by step procedure:

  1. Go to e-Devlet Turkish e-Government website.
  2. Find the “Giriş Yap” button, which is located in the upper right corner.

Enter your details:

  • the second column “e-Devlet Sifresi” contains the code previously received by RTT mail.

Confirm the entry by clicking on “Giriş Yap”.

  1. Accept the terms of use of the e-Devlet portal in Turkey: to do this, double-check the boxes and click the “Giris Yap” button.
  2. Create a unique password. The system will ask you to re-enter the previously issued password, and then enter the new one twice. Under the terms of using the portal, the access code must:
  • consist of at least 8 characters;
  • include letters and numbers;
  • do not contain data such as kimlik or ikamet numbers, date of birth.
  1. Review the message from the security system. This is the final step of registration, which we recommend not to neglect. After reading, click on “Tamam” (“OK”), thereby confirming your registration.

How foreigners can access the list of e-Devlet services

Citizens from abroad go through the standard procedure when registering for e-Devlet. The only difference is that to enter the database you must have valid residence permit either work visa and a work permit.

That is, after receiving an Ikamet ID card, foreign citizens must also visit the post office and receive a unique access code, as well as enter all the necessary data on the e-Devlet portal.

The exception to the rules is foreigners who, without a residence permit, are able to use e-Devlet if they have a current account in one of the Turkish banks and have a working Internet banking service. Employees of financial institutions will help you figure out exactly how to register for bank account holders.

Good to know! In addition to entering a password and logging in via Internet banking, you can access the register of public services through a mobile signature (a service offered by Turkish GSM operators), an electronic signature (the electronic signature service is offered by certified companies, the list of which is approved by the Information Technology and Communications Authority), and the ID Card application.

There are three working methods:

Method number 1. Go to your e-Devlet account's login page and click on the “Şifremi Unuttum” button (“I forgot my password”).
