Back in 2015 I left an application on the real estate portal Prian and received a reply from Alexandra Kabakci. Already from the correspondence I felt that this was my agency, although initially I was not going to buy in Turkey at all. I considered Italy and Spain, and talked to different realtors.
I didn't have time to visit and see everything in person, so it was important for me to receive detailed information about the properties right away. It was Alexandra who sent me such comprehensive answers that I decided: if there is someone in Alanya who can provide such professional support, why should I consider other countries? Additionally, I noticed that there could be issues with Schengen visas, and Russian-Turkish relations are continuously evolving.
Of course, I had concerns about whether the construction would be completed on time and whether the developer would be trustworthy. But Alexandra explained that everything is outlined in the contract, and since my work involves contracts, I personally reviewed every detail.
I chose a luxurious complex in Tosmur, Nordic Residence, and became the first client to purchase an apartment there even at the excavation stage. It was a good deal because, after some time, for the money I spent on two apartments, I could only buy one apartment in the same complex. We conducted the entire transaction online and arranged an interest-free installment plan. I arrived six months later, which was my first visit to Alanya. Initially, I intended to invest in real estate, occasionally coming to stay in the apartment where everything would be set up to my convenience. However, I became so comfortable in Alanya that I started coming here every month. Later, I met my future husband, Serdar, and moved here permanently. He manages transfer services and car rentals, and his company has since started a successful partnership with Ataberk Real Estate.
I was most concerned about my sons, the younger one being 6 years old and the older one 15, especially since we were attending an English school. But the adaptation process was quite smooth; within six months, they were already speaking Turkish. We enrolled the older one in a Russian school and the younger one in Waldorf, where I appreciate the approach to education.
It was also easy for me in Alanya because almost everyone here speaks English and even Russian. I also fell in love with Turkish cuisine, which uses so many fresh and delicious products. My husband and I enjoy visiting cafes and restaurants or ordering food to our home, especially since Alanya has many interesting places with excellent cuisine.
I really like that people here are very friendly and positive. Turkey has become the fourth country where I have lived, and only in Alanya did I finally feel at home, to the point that I even decided to get a dog in addition to my two cats.
