You have long been thinking about moving to Turkey, closer to the sea and the sun, with an environmentally clean climate, nature, and fresh vegetables and fruits, but you can't decide which area to choose. You want to buy a spacious apartment in a new building, close to urban infrastructure, with good transport connections, but still stay within a small budget?
Then you might consider the Kepez district in Antalya.

Kepez can be called the most populous district of Antalya, with a population of over 500,000 people. It is located in the north of Antalya, 10-12 km away from the sea, 13 km from the airport, and 15 km from the historic city center. Kepez is home to the Otogar bus station, from where you can travel to the suburbs of Antalya and any city in Turkey. It also has the terminal station for both the metro and tram.
The Kepez district has micro-districts, and from each part of Kepez, you can travel to any district of Antalya.
In the "Organize Sanayi" area of Kepez, almost all productions and factories are located, including well-known companies Yorukoğlu and Ekici.
At the same time, Kepez is called the "emerald" of Antalya, being one of the greenest districts - it has parks, squares, a pine forest, and even an olive plantation.
And these are not all the attractions of Kepez, in this district you can also find:
HAYVANAT BAHÇESİ ZOO – located among an extensive pine forest on a hill, it covers nearly 400 hectares of natural landscape. While Turkey has larger zoos, the advantage of this zoo is that it provides animals with conditions that closely resemble their natural habitats. The animals are kept in very good conditions. The zoo also impresses with the number and variety of birds, including flamingos, eagles, pelicans, Emu ostriches, peacocks, as well as diamond, golden, Taiwan, royal, and Himalayan pheasants. Among the animals, you can see lions, tigers, zebras, grizzly bears, llamas, gazelles, and Tibetan yaks. There are also chinchillas, meerkats, and raccoons. Reptiles in the zoo include crocodiles, rainbow boas, yellow anacondas, and pythons.
You can visit the observation deck with a stunning view.
In the summer season, the zoo is open from 09:00 to 19:00, while in winter the working hours are reduced by an hour, closing at 18:00.
The entrance fee is 7 lira per person, or you can pay 20 lira to enter with your car, with the fee charged per vehicle.
In the pine forest where the zoo is located, there is a well-equipped picnic area with tables.
Kepez Varsak Park (VARSAK) – this is an entertainment center, opened in 2013, featuring an Olympic swimming pool. It is an indoor pool, allowing for year-round swimming.
Adjacent to it is a children's amusement park - Fairy Tale Park. Almost all the park's attractions are designed in the form of cartoon and fairy tale characters - here you can meet Aladdin, Snow White, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf, Cinderella trying on her shoe, and the Lion King.
The park also has bike paths, tennis courts, a football field, and even a 200-seat cinema. Cafés and restaurants are also available on the premises.
Entrance to the park is free, and the park is open from 8 AM to 10 PM without any days off.

Duden Waterfall (Duden şelalesi) – one of the most beautiful and powerful waterfalls, with a height of 27.5 meters and a diameter of 2.2 meters. The waterfall is estimated to be 540-600 years old, flowing from a cliff into a beautiful turquoise lake. In winter and autumn, the waterfall becomes a powerful stream. There is an observation deck with a nearby cave offering beautiful views of the waterfall itself and the surrounding landscape. The cave has resting areas and a staircase leading to the top of the waterfall, where a bridge offers impressive views. Entrance fee is 5 lira.
Next, let's consider the amusement park Macera Ormanı (Adventure Forest). Everyone can find entertainment here - from horseback riding for both adults and children to various rides and cafes. There are also obstacle courses of different difficulty levels, a maze, rock climbing, and paintball. The park is located right in a pine forest.
It's worth noting that the area also features healthcare facilities. For instance, one of the largest hospitals in Antalya is located here, accommodating around 300 patients simultaneously. The intensive care unit is housed in a 10-story block and can accommodate 72 patients, while the emergency department spans 5 floors.
There are approximately 10 outpatient clinics affiliated with the hospital, and all appointments and visits to doctors are electronically recorded.
However, this is not the only hospital in Kepez - there are also multi-specialty hospitals such as Memorial, OFM, Akdeniz Şifa, as well as the ophthalmology clinic Dünyagöz and the women's health hospital Vitale. Private clinics provide translators for foreign patients.
Each micro-district has outpatient clinics accessible to foreigners with a residence permit. There are private dental clinics, pharmacies, and veterinary clinics in the area as well.

In this district, there are over 170 educational institutions, including both public and private preschools and schools spread across each micro-district of Kepez.
There are also institutions offering supplementary education, such as state-sponsored language courses and other specialized courses, catering to various interests.
Kepez district also hosts shopping and entertainment centers:
- - Özdilek
- - Erasta
- - Deepo
- - Mall of Antalya
Each micro-area features farmers' markets and major chain stores.
The Mayor of Antalya and the district administration have plans for the development and modernization of Kepez, including the opening of theme parks, fish market streets, restaurants, bicycle rental points, and a botanical garden spanning over 1.5 million square meters. There are also plans to enhance playgrounds, recreational areas, and sports centers in the central square of Kepez.
Real estate in Kepez is particularly suitable for families with children looking for permanent residence, as apartments here are spacious, often with multiple balconies and separate kitchens.
