Location
In 1992, Demirtaş was granted the status of a municipality. As of today, the population of the district is approximately 3,000 people.
The district is located 23 km east of the center of Alanya, and it is the next district after Kargıcak towards Gazipaşa.
Infrastructure of the District 🏜
The district is relatively new, with nature still untouched and preserved in its original form, making Demirtaş a quiet and peaceful area.
There are no noisy tourists, nightclubs, or cafes with loud music, nor are there large hotels.
However, there are wonderful beaches with few visitors, clean seawater, pine forests, and environmentally clean nature.

Construction Features 🏠
Here, authentic village houses coexist with modern complexes. In Demirtaş, you can always try fresh farm products - goat cheese, homemade cottage cheese, and fresh milk. This area offers the opportunity to place villas on the first coastline, which is impossible in other areas due to dense construction. This secluded place is much loved by villa owners, many of whom are foreigners.
One of the advantages of Demirtaş is also that real estate in this area is affordable, while the quality of construction is just as high as in other areas.
Low property prices are only due to the distance from the center. Buses run from Demirtaş to other areas of Alanya and the city center.

Beaches
In Demirtaş, the beaches are sandy and pebbly, with fine pebbles. The entry into the sea is gentle, and the water is clean, with the seabed covered in sand and fine pebbles. The waters of Demirtaş are home to trout, octopus, and blue crabs. Beach clubs offer sunbed and umbrella rentals.
From May to September, Caretta sea turtles lay their eggs in the fine, clean sand of Demirtaş's beaches. The areas with turtle nests are marked with special signs and are considered protected zones.
Attractions
This area is home to the ancient ruins of Syedra (Syedra Antik Kenti), located in the village of Seki on Mount Asar. The first mention of the ancient city of Syedra dates back to the mid-1st century BC.
At the highest point of this ancient city, you can see stunning views of the Taurus mountain range. The mountains are covered with pine forests, and the view stretches to the endless expanse of the Mediterranean Sea.
